What is Catalyst Bootcamp?

Catalyst Bootcamp is an intensive, interactive learning experience for Syria’s next wave of startup community builders, developed and delivered by Startup Syria.

Over one week, participants join daily 2‑hour sessions led by experienced facilitators and founders from across the Arab region and the Syrian diaspora. It’s more than training it’s a shared learning journey that blends expert insights, peer exchange, and practical tools to help you spark and sustain local startup activity.

Who We’re Looking For

We want motivated individuals from across Syria, including those in fragmented, underserved, or hard-to-reach areas, who are ready to step up as community catalyst. You may already be organizing small gatherings, helping founders, or just starting out. What matters is your commitment to learning, connecting, and making entrepreneurship possible where you are.
Note: only 2 people MAX per city will be accepted.

• Based in Syria (all governorates welcome)
• Age 20–45
• Stable internet connection and a device capable of attending Zoom sessions is required.
• Previous involvement in community or entrepreneurship-related activities is preferred
• Committed to attending all 7 sessions online
• Willing to organize at least one startup-focused community activity after the bootcamp
• Open to collaborating with diverse groups (women, youth, displaced, rural communities)
